Tow mirror backing plates

I did a search and came up with nothing. I am getting some tow mirrors and I see where it says I need to get some backing plates. I thought I would see if any of yall just use finder washers and saved $30+?

Also I am seeing prices for heated power mirrors and there all over the place. Is there a vendor on this site that sells them? If not, where is the cheapest place to get some?

The dealer and Pure diesel power (Last I checked.) sell the brackets. Most of the vendors here should be able to get you a quote. PDP, KT Performance, ETC. KoolVue sells the ones to fit a second gen bolt-in. If you want to factory ones, here is the link to take of that.

I got mine from discountautomirror.com. Didnt put the plates on just cause im too lazy to pull the door pannel off and make them......

BTW, dont buy your mirrors form that sight. I had to modify the bolts so much its rediculous.
 
I just bought a set of the mirrors off of speedycarparts.com heated and power versions where numbers DG49ER and DG49EL. The brackets I bought from lmc truck because I was getting some body panels from them LH-56-4170 RH 56-4171.
 
I think I've got a pair in the closet because I busted a mirror and just bought a new set from MOPAR and, of course, it came w/ the plates.
 
I helped a buddy put a set on and we tried just using washers, they shook like crazy driving down the road. After some research it seams that most people who don't use the brackets find out that they vibrate really bad without them. I would get the brackets.

The last I heard was they were going to be dropped off at Lloyd's for me and they never showed.
 
I couldn't make it to Fall Brawl and forgot to take them to Spring Fling. And I hadn't heard form you , so I inda assumed you didn't want them anymore...I'll get them up to you when I can. Maybe when my truck runs again.
 
For whatever reason my Dodge dealer says they can't get me just the brackets anymore.. Chrysler only includes them with the mirror kit now.

Stupid...
 
I would go to another dealer, I just put mine on about 2 months ago and had to get them from my dealer.
 
i bought mine off some autowarhouse or something. I didnt get all my parts they screwed me over and didnt give me seals and proper hardware. if i were u i would find a used pair or go to a dodge dealer. my buddy has the real ones and his are more quality made, my shake like a ***** when u drive u cant see anything behind you thats how cheap they are. i just have them for looks. haha
