my buddys looking at a 06 F350 it seems like a really nice truck got about 60,000 miles but it has a tps fault on the display between the guage does anybody know what that means i not much on fords

Throttle Position Sensor maybe? see if it spits out any codes on a scanner.

On second thought, maybe he meant to say TBC Fault. This is Trailer Brake Controller fault. Could be just water in the trailer plug or the sensor could be bad. I think ford's answer is to replace the master cylinder.

I've also seen it when using a remote start but it goes away after it's started.
