tps acting up

I put a used tps sensor on my 2001 dodge diesel it came off of a 1998.5 year it works great shifts good but ever so offten it will throw a code its 0121 The book says that the TPS voltage doesnt agree with map. What does that mean. The only funny thing it does is the pedal will go dead and you can let off and it will go back to acting just fine

You should start by calibrating the TPS to your truck, do a search for it. If that doesn't fix it, the TPS probably has a "dead" spot worn into it where it can't read its position properly and freaks out and throws a code.
