Just finished up the truck. Runs and drives now. Waiting on a stronger lift pump to arrive.

Question: For the TPS, the one I have is a known bad unit. Cheapest I have found is 171$ and I can't find the plug to go with it currently. Has anyone used the POT mod on the 98 and up trucks with success?

Thanks,

Ray

Right now:

Full 12v setup. Throttle linkages, cable, even 12v TV cable. I haven't cut wires to patch in 12v tps as I know this tps was bad, and I have no plug yet.

I used the same kit as cummins724 (got mine form Turbolvr though), it is well worth the money. It will same you lots of frustration.

I've read nothing but good about Turbolvr's kit. If it wasn't for the fact that I was already having issues with the APPS with locking and unlocking the converter, I'd be on it. Trust me.

The best part of Turbolvrs kit is the fact that I was able to still run my 1/2" fuel line into the pump. I only had to notch the back corner of the tps bracket. His kit is very nice for sure.
