TPS or VP??

local guy here has a 01 24 valve 6 speed, truck starts and drive good but at a certain point on the throttle it will cut out while driving, but if it is under heavier throttle it does just fine, no cutting out or anything...truck is not throwing any codes. do you guys think this is a vp issue or a tps?

APPS = "TPS" and I would start by replacing it with the Timbo unit which is better quality and much cheaper. They are not very difficult to install.
