ok changing out the track bar or tierods (been told both names from part stores) from my 99 to my 01 and ever thing has fit on perfect exept where the tie rod end(ithink) goes into the pitma arm(i think) its SUPER tight and cant get it go into there... are these even interchangeable?

Sorry for the poor naming but i really dunno what it all called and don't have anyone around taht dose (every one just takes um into get fixed i like to mess with it myself and learn)

A tie rod end goes to the pitman arm and about 6 inches long. a track bar is about 3 1/2 feet longand goes from the axel to the frame rail on the driver side.

ok so the tierod that goes to the pitman arm is what im having troubles with i know it took a pickel fork to get the old one off but for the life of me can't get the new one to go in!

called advance auto about gettin that new tierod and it was goin to be like 150$ that sound right

posible help

I know when I changed the track bar on mine I had to jack the frame off the suspension to releive it a little then put it together and let it back down.
Just thought it might help.
