Traction bars or caltracs

Looking to get rid of wheel hop on my chevy. I have everything to build adjustable traction bars and the previous owner already welded mounts on the rear axle. But I've been looking into caltracs. Truck is a just a daily driver stock trans truck. Thinking that the caltracs might be a better choice just looking for opinions
 
They'll both do the job. I thinks it's more of opinion on looks. I went with traction bars over cal tracs because I like the look better. A friend of mine went with cal tracs for about the same reason.
 
I never thought about that, but yeah they can, and it's not hard to hit them on stuff. I've hit one of mine on a deer, and the other on a lump of ice in the few months I've had them, but for where I use the truck I haven't had any issue with them limiting the suspension
