I have two 47re tranys one is bone stock with 15000 miles works perfectly, the other has a dtt vb, tc, billet input, and pro series raybestos rebuild kit. the trany with all dtt parts will not shift 2-3 and was only in truck about 80miles this is all out of a 98 12v 4x4. I was told the vb was a dtt racing, and the torque converter is a 91 r one of the old blue ones. I am wanting to do a manual conversion with a daul disk clutch. I'll trade all my petals and everything needed for somebody to have a auto. I am located in san angelo, tx.
 
how much for the built 47re? im really interested, especially if youd ship it.

I don't mind shipping. the trans has no 2-3 shift so not sure what to ask for just that one. When it was put in truck it worked fine for 2 days then I had to put into neutral for it to shift from 2 to 3 and it worked good. then I messed with the front band and then it would not shift form 2 -3 unless it was when the truck was started and driven, but after one time through the gears it won't do it again.
 
I have 1700 worth of tc,vb, and input shaft into this trans. I have had it to 3 local tranny shops, and they all told me it could be a lip seal, or front band, or need a rebuild kit at most. So I would like to get at least 1700 back out of it. I have checked the front band adjustment, and the gov solenoid. there was no problems.
 
back to the top 550 for the good stock trans it has a shift kit and comes with a good converter
 
to the top just trying to get rid of the good stock trans now. I also have a spare torque converter for sale.

if ur still interested in a swap i have a nv4500 for sale or trade with a1.375" input shaft new syncros and dualdisc clutch it shifts great and everything let me know what u think?
