My friend has a 98.5 Ram QC short bed with Cummins/automatic. He needs a dually because he bought a big horse trailer with living quaters. His truck has upgraded tranny, hybrid turbo, DD3's, Adrenaline/Pulse. The truck is Super Sharp & Super clean, the guy is very picky about his vehicles & does great maintenance. If anyone is interested, please pm me....he needs to do something before the horse shows start. You have my word, he is a great guy.

If i were him i would just look for a good used 2nd gen 3500. There are a lot of them out there and then he could have one to just pull that trailer and keep his super nice rig for everything else

He can't afford it. I already mentioned that.

Might save him some money and get to keep his known truck

that dont look to bad at all but dont think it would work on a 3rd gen

but would work out on his 2nd gen

there's a 2wd 12v 5sp dualy one town over on the side of the road for sale for $3200. Interior looks pretty clean. Looks like it's been repainted, but looks alright for a few grand.

what about just putting air bags my buddy did this to his 03 3500 but it was a single wheel he said it made a big diffence when pulling his goose neck not as much sway in the rear. Could work for you as well

I never thought I'd say this, but that 6ft dually looks sweet! I'll mention it to him, but I think his mind is made up. He did say that he wanted a 8ft bed for hauling gear as well as his quad when he needs to. I'll also mention that truck Forrest. Thanks.

Pm replied to.

Here is the scoop. I talked to him today & he got the ok from the wifey to add money to the deal. He decided that he wants a CR crew cab dually stick truck. If anyone is interested, his number is 724-323-5520 Terry.

I talked to him today. He is asking $13k for the truck. The truck was originally a v10 truck. The engine caught fire & the truck only suffered minor damage [burnt wires]. Balsley auto sales bought the truck & installed a new Cummins engine & changed the dash [to make it right]. The truck has a R title due to the engine/dash swap. If anyone knows of Jim Balsley, he is known in my area for dueing the Cummins swap trucks. He does quality work & one look at the truck would tell the story. You would never know this was originally a V10 truck. I'm sorry I didn't know the scoop [R-title] in the beginning, just trying to help a friend list his truck. Here is a link to Balsleys web. www.Balsleyautosales.com
