Looking for advice on what to do to my trans with out breaking the bank n buying a complete new built one. Would a after market convert, valve body be ok for a over mild tuned motor? I have the h&s trans tune but don't feel it helps 5th n 6th gear much. the truck is a 2012.

My advice is drive the truck gingerly in 5th and 6th or buy a built one.

Depends on what you REALLY want. You can do a basic rebuild on the overdrives using a better clutch friction and call it good, or do a full build and get it over with. If your really not ready for a built unit i would back it down to the lowest power level and do the overdrives, if not it will have a short life.
