tranny issues

howdy yall, I'm working on a buddies 2000 3/4t 4x4 auto. It has the ATS five star and VB and commander. Everything has worked awsome until last friday, we pulled into town w/ 8k goose neck and drove home. the next day he only had 1st gear. Would not shift manualy or auto. I checked fluid level and all i had on the stick was air bubbles. So I dropped the pan everything looked the way it should, drained all the fluid and changed the filter, still same issue.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know

He get new electronics when he had the converter and VB done?

First check the connector on the side of the tranny, pull it off clean it put it back on. Second get a psi guage on it and see what its doing. Hookup a guage on the middle port on the passenger side of the truck, put it in D and check the psi, bring the rpm up to 1500 rpm with your foot on the brake (in D) and check the psi. Then get back to us and tell us what you find.
