Tranny keeps going into limp mode

I am having a terrible time, racing this weekend. I am having a terrible time with traction, and for whatever reason I keep going into limp mode around the 330 foot mark.. its driving me nuts,, is it possible it is going into limp mode because of the spinning?

Scan it with the smarty what codes do you get? Too much line pressure will cause it to get stuck in third gear.

I thought that too,, ran the smarty scan,, no errors related to the tranny,, lots of other ones related to the stuff I have taken off, fan, heaters etc,, but nothing tranny related,, cleared them all anyways

I had the same issue (going into limp mode) recently. Turned out to be a bad governor pressure solenoid. I ended up buying the new upgraded solenoid from Suncoast.
