Decided to check my line pressure, have the ATSG tranny manual and a good gauge,I'm getting 55psi as soon as I put the truck in gear, manual says that it should read 0 to 1-1/2 @ idle and rise 1psi for every 1 mph. Reading the manual it tells me that my"govenor pressure solenoid valve faulty", The tranny shifts fine, I was going to raise the line pressure to try and firm up the shifts some, tranny was just serviced(by me)not long ago and everything looked fine and no grit, should I just buy an aftermarket valvebody? Not a daily driver but a tow rig, thanks for you help.Sorry for being long winded, lol.

Gov pressure is different than line. You are reading line pressure right now. If you moved your gauge to the rear port you will read gov pressure.
