Started this tuesday. While accelerating under easy throttle it shifts at a higher rpm than it should on the 1-2 shift then the 2-3 shift it sometimes wont shift at all. I have to put it in neutral then back into drive and it will shift in to the next gear fine. Under heavy throttle it does the same thing, but not always. If I roll into it rather hard it seems to shift fine.

Any ideas? Im thinking the tranny filter is dirty again. I tried calling Jeff today to ask him, but wasn't able to reach him.

Jeff had some important business to attend to today. He was out of pocket.
Probably a bad gov. Pres. Or trans Duce.

Yeah, he replaced my gov. pressure solenoid a while back along with the filter.

I guess I'll try to give him a jingle tomorrow.

As far as the bands/TV cable being adjusted correctly I'm not sure. I'm not savy on transmissions. Although if someone taught me how to rebuild one once or twice I'm sure would give it a try! The only problem is, I lack the tools to do it properly. Oh, and a back up vehicle to drive while mines down.....

I'd lay odds on electronics Dave. Mine pooped out a day after my last refresh... They just take a dump for no reason.

it is okay... we are working on a fix.

Well that's a sucks. What kinda "fix" are we talking about here?

Oh and boy I tell ya, getting ahold of Jeff is like trying to get ahold of NASA....I was so close, but they couldn't find him....

Jeffy-poo and I were talking about the problem last time I was over there... Some tranny part makers offer "rebuild" kits for the electronics, but it is hit and miss if they work correctly. We were able to contact someone who is looking into producing "upgraded" electronics. Funny how we have all sorts of hotrod parts for transmissions, but the electronics.....

I was thinking about that exact thing while driving to Macon yesterday.

It didn't do it near as bad yesterday as it did before....crazy crap.

DTT is now replacing the solenoid housing with an Allison (GM) part and using the bigger, longer lasting GM solenoid. Initial GM assembly is $350.00, but actual solenoids are much cheaper if they should ever fail.
