so ive got a stock 47RE with a DTT valve body in it (with a voltage regulator wired into the PCM) and it seems like it does it after the first say 10 times that the tranny does the 1-2 shift, it hops from first to second then back into first until it stays in second then continues on. it also is doing this after a long highway drive. I played around with the TV cable and have it set good, the voltage is where it should be, full of fluid, only started doing this after i put the valve body in the truck. another thing it does is when i slow down to under say 17 mph, and touch the throttle, it throws me into first when i could still be in second. would that allen head screw on the side of the valve body have anything to do with these two issues?
thanks guys

Wrap the wire going from the alternator to the passenger battery in aluminum foil and see if that helps. Try adjusting your apps as well.

Noise typically impacts the lockup of the trans. I would lean towards a Governor solenoid/sensor or tweaking the TV cable.

Agreed but its free and worth a shot.

Have you actually adjusted the voltage on the apps?

i checked the voltage of the apps with a voltage meter and it worked fine (nice steady increase in voltage) and after driving for a while its fine, the gov/pressure solenoid was replaced 11k miles ago, i know not to much about tranni's but what do you mean by band adjustment?
