trans. Hot Line

hey there, I am installing gauges o my 2001 CTD Auto and I purchased the vulcan "T" for the hotline and now I'm not entirely sure which line is the hot line. it appears there is a line coming out of the trans in front that goes up to a tube looking thing under the turbo and then down to the trans cooler in front of the radiator then back out and down to the back of the trans. Now sorry for sounding so dumb but I just want to make sure that before I cut into a line that it is the hot line coming from the trans and not to the trans. thanks for the Help

yes you are correct... the hot line comes out of the trans on the drivers side and goes to the heat exchanger under the turbo...
