Trans Question

i just rebuilt my 47re. billet input, intermediate and output, suncoast extreme duty kit and a ats race valve body. it shifts great going up through the gears and holds good, but on downshifts, it wont downshift out of 3rd unless i manually do it. any idea why it would be doing this?

Your going to limp it sounds like. How did you address the high gov pressure signal from the gov pressure sender?

the valve body came with a resistor i wired in by the pcm

if you tap on the brake, it stays in third? starts from third?
