Trans Rebuild

I have a 91.5 with the a518 trans in it and was wondering what i would need to do to the trans to hold 350 to 400hp and tow at least once a week. I have heard nothing but good things about goerends converters just wondering what else i should consider thanks in advance for the input.

Valve body should be changed you can also go with aftermarket clutches if you choose. You might consider looking for a 47rh then you will have a stronger trans with a lockup converter (this is whats going in my 89) Rich

Thanks for the info probably gonna do a suncoast extreme duty rebuild and a suncoast or goerend converter. Trying to save the hassle of swappin trannys.
