Trans swap my G56 w/DD for your 48RE

Im looking for someone with an 06 or 07 with an auto that wants to swap for my G56. If you are interested let me know

I was thinking...

Let me see what it would cost to swap out put shafts and my trans shop. Maybe it would work. Say I get 4x4 shaft put in mine and you get 2wd shaft put in yours and we trade out. I'll do the work. That's no problem. Only take a day to swap. Would have to swap ECM too. Very doable.

Yeah, if we can make it work I would be up to doing it. Would we be able to do it without swapping ECM's? Im thinking we could just get ours re flashed for the different trans. They would probably have to be reflashed for the 2wd/4wd change anyway

Ok I know a guy that would do it. He has an 05 48re 4x4. I'm working on his truck this week so I'll ask if he wants to fir sure. He needs it rebuilt tho. (no reverse) (or linkage is messed up, dodge is doing a recall on it later next week and might replace whole trans) he has 80,000 miles.

Only problem would be that the interiors are different so we would both have to get interior parts from the dealership or something, but let me know what he says.
