Well truck ran fine last night, hit the tc-switch twice on the ride home just screwing around, got in the truck today and know it does"nt want to come out of first gear,I have to let of the pedal and its slips in 2nd unless I baby it yes its and auto,so i changed the filter and fluid still the same what did i do??how do i fix??Unhooked tc-switch put relay back in still samething

It may be the speed sensor causing the no shift to second. Thanks Steve B.

"Could" be a broken band/band strut, accumulator (if it still has the oe plastic one), or possibly a broken servo. You will most likely need to remove the valvebody to find out whats wrong. If the band and struts look okay, air check the servo and inspect the acc. for cracks. Was the pan clean and the fluid good?

Fluid was brown in color and ther was a small piece of metal , looked just like afingernail on your pinkie ,same shape

DOES anybody know were the governer pressure sensor is on the 47re??

THANKS FOR THE INFO KDIESEL I"ll look as soon as I get the truck back, wanted to get the PCM tested but they said they could"nt because the alternator is bad .Know of any ways to home test the PCM?? AFTER I put the new alt on tomorrow.
