Trans upgrade

So I have begun the build up of my truck. Im just getting started in all this and have only done a few bolt on mods. Chip,turbo,RR,Fuel System,ect.... I know its time to start looking at upgrading the transmission. Anyone got any tips/pointers they would like to share? I have a 4R100 by the way.

Might I suggest a good brand name aftermarket torque converter with some lower stall.

One word "Stallion" by PI its purple,its lower stall, its rugged and its a good mod for you. Will feel like you added another setting on your chip. Perfect complement to the r4100 your getting built.

You may want to rebuild the whole thing before it leaves you stranded. Recently did a rebuild with everything from suncoast website except the billet output shaft. Use a 6.0 trans cooler though instead of the one u can get or there and don't get the .500 line mod do the .427. Feels like It might break something it shifts so dam hard, other than that I love it

Might want to tell us how far you really plan to go too. 400hp? 600hp?
