i just bought a transfer case out of a 98 12v to put into my 95 12v and all it does is leak trans fluid out between the transmission and t case. does that style transfer case not work on the older 47rh or is there something else that could be wrong? let me know what you think. thanks.

I can't remember what the older version of the 47rh is, off the top of my head I remember something like 518 and the before that 727 Torqueflight? I can't remember when the 727 was renamed. Did you check the mating planes before you installed or could there be anything in between the to pieces? Sorry I am no real help. I haven't looked at or kept track of drivetrain components for a while.
