Any one know where to get a transmission blanket for a 48re that doesnt cost $400?
:rules:

only one company makes them...its not exactly a mass production item as there isn't a need for thousands and thousands to be made.

maybe you can find a used one for less than $400

what company is it that makes them,, I probably should have one on my truck,,even though I am not mandated by the rules,, I would think it would be a good idea

i bet a nv4500 or 5600 version would fit the ZF Joe, its just the bellhousing blanket and not a fully tranny blanket for a manual

Yep Deist custom made mine for me. Stroud would not make them. Mr Diest past away recently so I am not sure they will make you one. I know Haisleys had ZF blankets. Mark Barvoiak(Yeah I know I missed spelled his name) told me about it after I hade mine made. Mine cost far more than $400.

Haisley blankets was made for my truck from stroud and it didn't fit right but fit a dmax perfect though

I didn't think 400 was too bad of a price.. 800-1000 for the tractor.. different ratings=different prices...
