Transmission cooler

I'm installing a trans cooler with fan good for 24k with 6an fittings. These are about 3/8" ID and the dodge lines are 1/2" Has anybody had any problems with this setup? Will the smaller diameter cause a restriction? Any suggestions on the best being used out there?
