Anyone sell a kit or have pics & parts list to make one? I've been wanting to add a filter inline before my trans cooler on my 47RH just to keep the tranny alive longer.

Im sure the filters have to be a special kind?
 
I like those but aren't those lines & fittings to small of a restriction for our trucks?
 
I just went to the local hydraulic shop and found me a 10 micron filter and a filter head with 3/4" npt ports...total cost was around twenty bucks...pretty cheap if you ask me!

you can use like 10 different filters with it.


i didn't use any of there fittings or hose because i bought russel hose and fittings... but that is personal preference

those are the kit instructions.... but it shows what you need to do... wether u use there over priced kit or not.... it came with my tranny package and had to be installed for warrenty.... :hehe:
