I was wondering what the difference in the shift linkages is between the '99 and '00 model year. I just got a built DTT from a friend, but his truck was a 99 and mine is a 2000. The main shift linkage has a bracket that bolts to transmission housing in two spots, on this transmission, there is no hole where the bottom bolt needs to go, nor are there any holes near by that would suggest the 99 linkage bolts up in a different spot.
I guess what I'm asking is, did the 99 main linkage rod only bolt to the transmission in one place or was it somewhere else completely different. Just to be clear I'm not talking about the linkage arms or the TV cable. Thanks,
