still cant figure out whats wrong , if you have read my other post ..i appreciate all the hep ,but still no help
does anyone know how i can check the computer , runs great cold after it gets warm loses power and smokes bad ....seems like the turbo quit . i have tried the lift pump,cp3 , rail pressure switch and valve all with no help
what about injectors anyone ever heard of them working great when cold and not when its warm,,,
any suggestions thanks
 
don't crank the truck but, turn the key over 3 times.... on-off, on-off, on-off then back on. Watch the odometer read out and write down the code numbers it shows you. Post them back here. That will help diagnose your problem.... if there are any codes.

They will start with " P " or " U "
 
p0251 ip fuel metering control a malfunction
p2509 ecm powerdown data lost
p0107 map sens low volt
p0073 air temp sens too high

I've had the 2509 from bad batteries, set it when it struggled to crank. Sounds like the ecm took a dump IF all of these appeared at the same time since they are unrelated.
 
that's what I'd say too. Either a bad ECM or.... check all your battery connections and test your batteries to be sure their ok.
