Having some issues with my truck... When the motor is cold and I go to start it it acts like its 20 degrees out without a grid heater. It starts real hard and blows white smoke at idle for the first 2 or 3 minutes. And when I rev the motor with the clutch in or in neutral it usually will miss. It seems to really only do it if I completely depress the pedal. It also misses if I pull out of a stop light in a hurry and stomp it.
It did not do this at all before the motor rebuild. The rebuild consisted of all new bodies in with new 90 horse tips (all balanced and tested). New enterprise cam with new tappets (this cam uses the older smaller tappets and tight valve lash). New Hamilton 110 valve springs. All new gaskets and bearings.
Any ideas?
