Truck dies wait to start light flashes any ideas

Its a 2001 3500 ctd six speed. truck runs great then it will die the wait to start light will flash i turn the key off restart then she drives normal it does this daily any ideas.

Turn the keyswitch On-Off-On-Off-On then look at your odometer for codes.
What's your lift pump fuel pressure?

Typically the wait to start light flashing is a sign that no calibration is in the pcm. This usually only happens after pcm replacement, before the calibration is loaded back in.

Can the calibration be lost by other means, like downloading from a Smarty, Superchips or other downloaders?

check the pins on the pcm, I've heard of a pin breaking loose and causing problems.
