So I put on a new SO pump and a set of 35 hybrid/3b twins and the truck is not going anywhere fast. Looks like a 14 housing on the 35 and the 26 on the 3b. With whats in my sig I know I have the fuel to spool these things. I was getting a cam sensor code so I replaced that, didnt do squat really. Next got the 122 and 121 code so new apps is on order hope that will fix it. Couldnt get the voltage to adjust so I think my old apps was on its way out too.Still driving on it but it feels like the truck wont realize full throttle, Maybe a quarteer or eighth if that. I can build maybe 2 lbs of boost but it feels like the truck is not adding fuel like it should. If I nail it it revs slow and hardly smokes and doesnt make boost. Maybe something with the map sensor? I mean wtf gives? Even with a dead hrvp and a single 66 truck moved pretty darn good, now It doesnt move at all, just sounds nice and idles a hell of alot better. Pump wire is not tapped for now just so you guys know. Any help is appreciated
 
Sounds like limp mode, my did it when I was messin with the Map. You gettin any Map codes ?
 
No map codes yet, but it feels like its limping for sure! Limp mode would be the best way to describe it. My apps should be here today so I'll see how that goes. Also gonna tap the wire and maybe see if I can clean the map sensor.
 
i had a problem similar to that when i took my truck to a shop and took my edge box out. when i went to pick it up i forgot the chip so i spent about twenty minutes on a five minute trip back home because my edge plugs into the map. when i put the chip back on it was fine so that does sound like the problem
 
Yeah thats sounds alot like it. No boost egt's about 800-1000 cruising, at wide open it rev's slow and will only hit about 2600rpm max I unhooked my adrenaline from the map and put tha factory pulg back in it. Wire was not tapped still is not, but I left the data link plugged since I didnt think it would matter. Maybe clean the map or replace it and hook the adremaline back up?
 
Unpulg the ADR and see what you get.. Hell unplug the batteries and reset the APPS while you are at it.
 
Just put on new apps and didi the whole reset. Unfortunately I'm thinkin it is now a turbo problem. Gonna pull them off tomorrow and check all the wheels and what not top turbo is gettin alot of shaft play doesnt feel good at all I am on my buddies name right now but this is shiftycapone
