The SunCoast tranny wont shift out of 2nd when I get on the go pedal. I mean I don't even have to floor it, just roll into it some what hard and it still won't shift. Also it wouldn't down shift one time from 2nd to 1st. SO for the time being I'm driving a 08 FORD twin turbo Super Duty. To be honest I think that truck turns more heads than my loud red Dodge....I do know one thing it drives like a caddy compared to mine, but I miss my Cummins POWER already....

Any body want to guess on what could be wrong with my truck?

Governor solenoid or transducer.

X2!

I just got home from Garmons about 10 mins. ago.....I thought that was your truck sitting there....

I had to pull my top turbo to send back to HTT.....I've been having a power issue that was getting worse...My total boost was going down....
Found a cracked SS WG housing that made the WG pucks start getting hung up on the inside of the housing where they wouldn't close....AND the WG cover is so dang thin, It warped and was leaking drive pressure....:bang

The dang thing only had 600-800 miles on it since new....I hope they take care of me....

Yeah, that was it. He replaced the govenor pressure solenoid a while back actually. Hopefully he can get to it pretty soon. I don't think any major is wrong with it.

BigSwole, HTT had better take care of you!! WG cover was thin? I wonder if that was a quality control issue or if they are all thin?

I thought I saw a thread a while back about Htt making thicker covers....They deffinatley need to be thicker to handle that kinda heat and pressure!!!!

I guess I could have someone make one for me but Nathan at MPI said that you can put two of the thin ones together and tack weld them together..Then bolt it on....I hope that will work

But, I put a letter inside with mine that requested the thicker plate with a new housing that's not cracked and has properly working WG pucks...I just hope they get it out QUICK....I'd hate to miss my 3RD race of the year because of this issue!!!!
