its been a hell of a summer but we are there except for Ve pump teething pains

I suspect we wil lbe P-pumpin by spring if we are to get close to the Duramaxes again

Swapping to a p-pump, say it ain't so!

I've been following your work with the VE pump on 1stgen and I'm wondering, what sort of teething problems did you have with it? It seems like after the work that went into developing the pump, that more than one season on the pump would be beneficial. Is it a matter of class progression or frustration that is making you lean towards going to a p-pump?

we are having internal timing issues - works very erratic
this wekend i am gonna stuff all the good pieces into an otherwise stock pump and see how it works

yes frustrating that at the first of the year we were within a foot or two , and have steadily fell further behind - however it must be said the other trucks have been gettin better each week as well as they constantly upgrade thier trucks

that and the duramaxes can make 500 hp with just the efi live and 500 hp with a single charger on a VE is next to impossible

I dont liek to be the hind tit so if I need a P-pump - so be it

Well, you have to do what you have to do to stay competitive. Sounds like the timing issue is a big one. Did you get the rpm from the VE that you were looking for or is that another issue holding you back?

Sounds like the truck is very competitive and the fuel from a P-pump is what you need to be on top. Good luck.

i am turnin 4000+ in first gear and carryin about 3600 rpm in second so thats no issue - but the timing really screws with the fuel
