truck problems

a week ago ..Driving down the road...got in to it..the truck shuts off and had to coast into the parking lot and it did not start... after about 30mins later...we tryed to turn it over... and a minute worth of cranking and the truck starting to sputter..then it starts. it started to do it again today but only sputtered but then went back up in rpms and ran fine the rest the way home. can anybody tell me why? truck 2002 with quadzilla chip on 5 or 7 both times, Fass DDRP.
 
The first time the check engine light came on, but after a couple turns of the key it turned off. but no codes after that showed up.
 
unplug the box and plug it back in it should start if not try it a couple mine does it alot
 
ya that is what we did the first time..is unplug the tuner.. but it still would not start...it was like the truck ran out of fuel...but i just filled up ten minutes before. do you think its the tuner?
 
i love the quad but i always hate... mine does it a lot... normally with mine you just unplug it and plug it back up then it runs fine... i dunno why it does it
