Truck runs kinda rough!

I just put a new IP on my truck and now it seems to run a little rough while cruising and when idling. It as more power then it used to but just runs a little rougher and makes a little more noise and ideas wat could possibly be wrong? I just put in new injector nozzles and it seemed to quiet the engine down quite a bit but still runs a little rough. It was the first IP ive ever done also is there something i could of screwed up?

You mentioned that you put in injector nozzles. I'm guessing that maybe the pop off pressures may be off just a hair to allow for the little bit of rough running that you are experiencing. Did you have the injectors pop tested?
 
yes, I would blame the nozzles, not the injection pump. If it runs a little rough either get used to it or pull the injectors and get them pop tested.

Are you absolutely positive you didnt crush the key-way when you slid the pump in? And did you also use the key that came with the new pump?

From how I read his post he changed nozzles after the pump to see if that was the problem. If it was running rough before the nozzles I would look at the key being the issue firsthand.
 
Its ran a little rough before i put the nozzles in but i havent got them pop tested. Im pretty sure i have the keyway in there right because ive put almost 2000 miles on it since then. When i get some time i will pull the pump back off and see it something is wrong there. Thanks any other ideas would help to.
 
I just went through this. "New" nozzles as in brand new, or just new to your truck? Send you sticks off to get looked at, cleaned, and poped would be my recommendation. $.02
 
They were used from my buddy with about 15k on them but its not the nozzles it ran rough before that.
