Truck cranks for a long time before starting has been doing it for the last 4 days.I live in socal so its pretty warm. When the trucks been running it starts up right away. What is my problem

And your FICM Hi Voltage is while cranking? Oil temps above 130 is what gets around the sticky spool valves, so unless its 130 outside, don't rule it out. What year is the truck?

so when exactly is it hard to start? just at the beginning of the day or is it all the time now?

Have you changed the fuel filter lately? Or openend up the fuel system at all? A small air leak will cause a hard start.

Mine is doing the same thing and sometimes idles just a little rough. My cousin told me to try Hot Shot's Secret by Lubrication Specialist. He told me it helped his out alot. I don't know but I think I will try it.

ok when a 6.0 is having a problem starting and it cranks longer than usual typically that means that there is a high pressure oil leak somewhere in the high pressure system. under each valve cover there is a oil rail which feed oil to all the injectors. in those rails there is a size 10 hex plug (depending the year, early year models have a 1/2 in square plug) towards the front of the rail. its called a dummy plug and on this plug is two o-rings and alot of times the bottom o-ring will blow apart causing a hard start. also on the back of the high pressure pump is a stc fitting (snap to connect) is will blow apart sometimes so bad that it wont run at all, if it is coming apart it will need to be replaced with the new updated style that threads in. usaully that is the most common hard start problems with the 6.0l.
