Ok well you probably think im nuts already by the title but.....

I tested this 5 times so far,
when my Duallie gets below 1/4 tank of fuel it will not shift out of first
I've tried manually and still a no go, fill the tank anywhere above 1/4 and its fine

Anyone ever hear of this??? Am I going insane?????

Soon to be Admitted,

what did you do for a TC lock up switch? seems theres a wire mix up.

I like your threads, you have the wierdest problems! I would inspect/question the PCM.$.02

alright im game..heres ashot since you got so many elec problems. go to radio shack. ask em for an rf filter. get the big one. they sell 2 sizes. clamp it on the power wire comin outta the alt as close to the alt as possible. it will barely fit. tie wrap it or it will fall off and youll hafta go get another..believe itor not it solves all kinds of t/c prblems/trans issues/fuel tank sendin unit issues...try it..its 5 bucks...youll thank me later

The PCM supplies a ground for the gove solenoid. So either you have an issue with the ground on the govenor soleniod/PCM, or possibly a weak 5V supply. If the 5V supply is weak, you might not be getting the transmission output sensor reading. Possibly fill it up and check the 5V, and then run it down and check the 5V, possibly even check it while your running. I assume if you pull the PCM relay you get 3rd gear only?

I am suspecting a weak 5V or a bad connection and I can't remember if the fuel sender is 2 wire or a 3 wire pot.

Skrew it , just keep it above 1/4 tank and your all good. :Cheer:
LOL

I usally do but i want this fixed
