Truck will not shut off

Ok the truck has been sitting for a few week at the body shop. They took it in to start removing the front end and couldnt get the truck to shut off.

Anybody have this happen before.

they ended up pulling the ecm relay.

Maybe a connection got messed up in the wreck. It wasnt running away was it?

Sounds like a sticking solenoid.

Ditto, Edge Juice did it to me too. Did you have to switch harnesses to fix the problem?

well i dont have an edge. but i did hook up the quad adr, didnt have the 01 map sensor connected, i just unpluged it for right now. we'll see if that was it. all they did was start it to move it into the garage so surley it wasnt a timer of some kind.

I was doing just fine even after the wreck. i drove it on the trailer and off. maybe a solenoid or the quad.

what solenoid and where?

Basically the one the Edge or quad uses to keep the truck running with the key off, main power distribution maybe?

mine did that once, the solenoid in the starter was stuck

Pull the wire that connects to fuse #9. Has to do with turbo cool down.

Ok. Right now its still in the shop. Im getting ready to head to Texas for 2 weeks and it should be done when i get back. Ill have to check it then. I drove it around for about a week before i wrecked it and i still didnt have the map sensor for it, it was just wired up and ready for that is all.

Thanks for the info Gus. Do you have any good deals for the monitor. all i got is the little display. I want it completely unlocked though.
