Depends on how your rules read. "true" 2.6 is defined by the rules that you have to compete under.
Many have discussed that it is a turbo with a 2.6 inducer bore, and no bushing, stepped cover, etc.
What is best............? Depends on your truck, how you use it, rpms, etc., etc., etc.

2.6" inducer usually works out to be a 66mm inducer.

That has nothing to do with the rest of the compressor wheel dimensions. It may be a very large wheel that has been cut down to measure 2.6 or it may be a standard 2.6 wheel with exducer around 92.7mm.

As far as what works best, it will vary by application. Your best bet is to find a company that specializes in your particular application and talk to them or use the experts here to help you find the right charger.
