Truxs M/T for pulling tires?

Got a truck in the shop today that had these on them. Wondering if the tires work alright for pulling or would they be too aggressive. The tracks up here are mud and clay, never sandy. Been running Cooper STT's and thye worked awesome, just wanted to try something new.
 
I personally dont think you can have to much bite on the track. Yeah, you might break more parts, but if you are in it to win, then you want the most traction you can get IMO.

Issue is with too much bite, you get to hopping and/or you start really digging and throwing the dirt in from of the sled.

I thought the M/T were pretty hard, unlike the STS's which if your lucky are a 15,000 mile tire.
 
Buddy ran the Muds on a 1500 gasser wore like POO! My STS wear like POO! I wanna try some BFG A/T's they wear like cast iron even though U want a MUD tire!

Lets work out a deal Brandon, I have a set of BFG's AT on rims that I would trade for the STS's and kick in some coin, depending on the shape of your rims.
