i sure as hell couldnt find a deal like that when i was looking...i had to buy a NV5600 in order to get the free 271 with it

It will fit but you have to change the input hub from the auto to an manual hub. It's very easy to do:Cheer:
 
You will need to change several things. The shaft is larger, and I think the yokes are larger too. It will fit, but you have to modify these. You will loose your speedo also.
