trying to Identify an Intrenational rearend.

My dads gasser 2wd puller has an International rearend. The 7.17 gears that are in it now have a fewteeth broken around the O.D. of the ring gear and he was wanting to go to a 6.50 gear instead to begin with. We are having trouble trying to identify what rearend it is. The only numbers i have found is as follows:

3rd member (center section): 68943-R4
7.17 gear part number on the end of the pinion: 107657-R1

I thought i had the rearend figured out to be an RA-39, but after trying to cross refrence the 7.17 gear numbers, the part numbers for a new 7.17 set does not match. This is the site I used to refrence: http://www.worldamerican.com/Catalogs/hd_diff_tran_pieces/RA39.pdf
