Did anyone notice that the rules say the bushing has to be within 3/4 of an inch form wheel not the standard .050. Anyone know why the change or am I missing something???

Turbocharger:
The vehicle is limited to a single turbocharger; a 2.8 bushing will need to be used if the compressor wheel exceeds 2.8 If a bushing is used, it must be round, at least 3/4 inch long, mounted within ¾ inch of the compressor wheel, and the inside diameter of the bushing may not exceed the 2.8 inch limit the bushing must be ¾” in width. If you have any questions regarding the construction of a bushing, contact Scheid Diesel Technical Service. The inlet will be measured using a 2.85 inch plug. A stock map width enhancement (MWE) groove is allowed. No MWE groove will be allowed that has a width greater than 1/4 inch. All provisions allowing air to the wheel other than via the bore and the MWE groove are prohibited.

kinda like 2.6s weird wheel protrusion rule

Most 2.6 rules say it must protrude but is it also an odd distance???

Turbocharger:
The vehicle is limited to a 2.6 inducer bore single turbocharger. The compressor wheel must protrude into a 2.6” bore for 1/8”. The inlet will be measured using a 2.65 inch plug the plug must not be able to enter the inducer bore. A stock map width enhancement (MWE) groove is allowed. No MWE groove will be allowed that has a width greater than .200”. All provisions allowing air into the wheel other than via the bore and the MWE groove are prohibited. The vehicle driver will be responsible for making compressor wheel accessible for tech personal to measure bore and be able to inspect compressor wheel.

If its like any other Scheid run pull its because thats the way some of the Scheid trucks are set up. They make the rules to work for them and everyone else has to conform.

It was the same way at scheid last year. If I were to bet it was a typo originally and they just haven't changed it.
