I have read the scarce threads on this box with interest and waiting for more info. Since it is said to do more than other non-tap boxes, I am curious to know if the new technology Dennis offered is similar to old ones in the way that fuel and timing are managed in the box in some way? The point of my question is, will the MVP be good for towing in 18,000 GVW category (on mild settings I assume) and daily driving? I would guess it should really open up larger injectors, now what about EGTs?
I am about to invest in mild upgrades (maybe 100 hp) and my $$$ could go different directions... Mach 1s are on the list and a non-tap box, too.
Thanks!

i beileve it's a timing only box! i think its a mild box or a good stacking box for some serious juice

It's claimed to make 100hp, i would think it would be more them timing.

There hasnt been much talk about it recently. I think they are shipping still. Surely somebody out there has ran one for a while now.

I have run one for almost 2 months. I can tell you that the box does not manage fuel and timing in the "classical" sense, and it should work well for your application. My stack(Bluechip FMS and MVP) with the MVP runs cooler than it did with my VA box as well. If I were you I would go with a Mach 1.5 or Mach 2. You will like it much better.

I am at higher elevations, so more fuel is not so good sometimes, I heard. After contemplating forever about M1s vs 1.6s, just got a set of M1.6s in the mail, will install them tonight. I am trying to get a VA box to start with. I called TS and they do not have the MVPs right now. It will remain on my radar screen, would be curious to try it. I assume it still connects to MAP and the data port, like other non-tap boxes?

Timbeaux, Did you ever get a chance to put the truck on a dyno to compare numbers?

No...My VP has been taking a poo for a while and the numbers wouldn't be worth a piss. I am gonna slap a new VP on this week (hopefully)

any news?....anyone?.....anybody stack it with tst or other fueling box?
