Bit delayed here on reporting what I have found about running this dude, had a few drivetrain issues that have held up progress, read on and you will find out what I mean LOL

Rewind to early December, been talking to Timbeaux about his MVP a bit, decided to try one out and see what happens. The idea was to get it in the week before Beans shop day and do a back to back dyno comparison between it and the drag comp I've been running for years. Almost made it too! Get the MVP installed two days before Beans, plenty of time to run it around town and see how it does, make sure there are no issues with the module, etc. In town?? I LOVE THIS THING!! It's about the same power level by the SOP meter as the drag comp on 3X3, but is about five times more driver friendly. With early DDIII injectors taking off from any stoplight resulted in a smokeshow without real careful attention to the skinny pedal. Not with the MVP, drive however you want, the power is still there, just not the smoke. And how the power comes in? I love it, smoother than the bottom of a baby, turbo spool is actually improved due to the way it brings the fuel in.

On the highway or around town I have only noticed one small issue with it, between 1800 and about 1950RPM it has a tendency to take your pedal inputs and delay them, not much, just enough to be noticeable. Above or below that RPM band it does not do this.

I got on the road headed to Bean's shop, tried out the cruise, big surprise, it still surges! LOL Not quite as bad when running the drag comp, but about the same. This was running right around 1900RPM, with 35's and 3.54's should have been pretty close to 72MPH which is slow enough to avoid a driving award in a 65MPH zone. Once I got on the interstate and could kick the speed up a bit (2000RPM=77(ish)MPH) the surge became barely noticeable.

I cannot at this time give you a mileage comparison or power comparison, about 60 miles from Beans shop the CON OFE I installed over 100K ago decided it had finally had enough :bang I feel certain that my running around town trying to smoke the tires every shift might, maybe have had a bit to do with that (did I mention this box is just plain FUN! to drive with?) LOL Took pulling the tranny to find this little problem once I got the truck back home via a trailer, and since I'm up in the air about doing an auto swap into it I have not purchased a new clutch yet and the truck is just sitting.

In summary, is this a race box for all out power? Nope, it's just a damn fine module for the VP equipped trucks that makes very good power so smoothly it's unbelievable. It does have in cab adjustability, can't tell you what the lower levels are like, sorry! In short, if you just want something to drive around with, tow with, and enjoy the truck with, buy it. You will not be wasting your money

I don't have the pedal delay thing with mine Billy...... I'm wondering if that is not that 400 year old VP you have.....

Brad, you need to go for a ride in my truck.................. The FMS and the TST comp add fuel in a similar fashion, and it is a badass stack to run.

Yes but the smarty would need to be on even levels.

I wonder what a MVP/TST Comp/Smarty Stack could do? Talk about fine tuning.

Thank you!

i ve asked that question numerous times and never got a response.
