Has anyone ran a TST comp by itself with a hrvp? i have an ADR right now, but I want to try a TST/MVP stack. i have access to a tst now, and i will get a MVP around christmas or after! how does the tst do by itself? or maybe compared to ADR

Depending on the truck it seems, the HRVP doesnt like anything that puts out any extra timing. So a TST by itself will work good or stacked with a smarty with the timing pulled out.

thats the other thing, there is a guy on CF that wants an ADR for his Smarty! should i trade? only if it has the Revo software?

You can update to the Revo software yourself. So thats not an issue. Most ADRs can sell for $500 without the pulse and used smarties go for about $400 so thats up to you.

Not to de-rail the thread but how long has it been out? any comments on it? seems really interesting. I havent seen a plug and play box over 65hp without a wire tap.

No, I am thinkin of gettin rid of the ADR for a smarty or TST, then MVP stack

A. try the pulse

B. trade for Smarty

C. trade for Tst, then later buy a MVP

It does not work like most traditional timing boxes... It hits harder than any other non-wiretap box I have used. I rarely flip the FMS on unless I wanna play. I really like being able to turn it up and down- particularly when the engine is cold- don't have to worry about the added timing killing a headgasket.
