Tuner help please

Need some help with a tuner for my 98.5 Ram 2500 24v...
I know there are very few options-
I have a DiabloSport Power puck but would like a little more gogo on the old girl. It is mild with FASS lift pump and AFE intake with 5" straight pipe.
I've heard so many problems with people blowing their VP pump with tuners but have to wonder if they were running on the highest level.
Basically i would like more than the 50hp I get from the Puck- was hoping for something like 80hp gain.
What do you think of and does anyone have for sale any of the following--------
Quadzilla Adrenaline
Edge Comp
Quadzilla XZT
Edge EZ
Banks Big Hoss

Any input or preference on these tuners would be great and also if anyone has one for sale let me know. Ive read some great reviews on the Quad Adr, but also a lot of horror stories on blown VP pumps and malfunctioning and surging.
I guess I may be leaning toward the XZT or an Edge Comp....

Pretty much if you go with the Comp or another big box your gonna have some degree of surging. Its just part of it, once you drive it for a while you wont even notice the surging anymore.

i have a quad adr. i like it a lot. it woke my truck up like i couldnt believe.. as long as you have a FASS you should be fine with the whole vp thing.. low fuel pressure is what kills them. i did blow my head gasket with my adrenaline about 2 hours after i put it on but it was pretty cold and i was getting pissed off trying to get out of wal mart and it seen about 42 lbs of boost and the temp needle was still sitting on 140.. that one was all my fault

Why do you say that? I've never had any surging on mine... Drag Comp stacked with Smarty.

I have talked to everybody around here with a bigger box and they all have had some degree of surging(light to bad). My truck is worse than any other I have drove but none the less everyone I have drove or rode in surged. It could be that everybody around here has old software in there boxes, I know mine is. Mine has not been sent back in around 2+ years but, seeing how its now $100 I guess I can live with it.

hmmm never heard of severe problems with surging other than with a Quad box... Especially if it's only a box that's on there and nothing else....

And my drag comp has VERY old SW on it... Never been back as far as I know...
