I have an 01 24v cummins. It has a fass 150, 100 sticks, edge comp box, and a brand new south bend clutch. I was wondering if anyone thought something like a 62/71/14 would be to much turbo for me. and if so, i also plan on stacking my comp with a smarty. would that help for more fuel? any insite would be much appreciated.:banned::hehe:

62/71/14 would be a good turbo for that setup. The Smarty will help on the bottom end.

You will have the same setup I had. However, I just sold the smarty and 1.5's and I've got a set of 200's that are going in when it gets done being studded/o-ringed

Oh and save your money for bigger sticks rather than the Smarty.

can i expect any noticable turbo lag with this set up, or will it feel about the same as stock?

200's are gunna be pretty hot for that 62.

I've done alot of research and asked alot of people and they all thought that 200's would be fine with my setup. I never tow anything and my truck is just a DD/hotrodder. Thanks for the input though. :Cheer:

Gonna be hot on the top end, but for daily driving it should be fine.

Most of what I do is just little short runs to lay some smoke down and show the duramax's where the power's at. I think that I'll get along with them good.
