turbo and banks exhaust brake

I saw a deal on a 62/12 turbo, but I have a hx35 w/ a banks fast turbo exhaust housing (is this a 35/40) and a banks turbo mounted exhaust brake. doesn't this have a 4" down pipe? how can you use a brake and a better turbo? I need the brake for towing.

Yes, the 62/12 uses a 4" downpipe.

Send your turbo to htt and they can put a hx40 compressor on there. Some people do it themselves. That's what is called a hx35/40 hybrid- 40 compressor on a 35. Otherwise you're looking at a inline style exhaust brake or a 3rd gen exhaust brake with a custom downpipe. J Lent will tell you all about the third gen option if you want to try that route.

If I were you, I'd go with an inline exhaust brake like pacbrake.

The banks brake will not be compatible with the 62/12. I would also suggest a 40 wheel upgrade if you're wanting to keep it. The banks housing is a 14cm housing I believe, which would be nice to have with a 35/40 hybrid.
