I am looking for a turbo to match up with my Dynomite Diesel 150's. I do want to tow 8000lbs but not often. A couple of places have recommended a 62/65/14 but I'm not sure about this turbo. Any ideas?

I would stay around a 62/68 or 62/71, you probably wouldn't like that 74mm wheel towing

i have DDP 150 and a 62/65/14 great for towing i have towed 12,000 and beat on it and only 1200deg before turbo i always shut the boxs off when i tow.sleed pullin she gets a little toasty.

That's what I wanted to hear. Does it take a while to heat up with your Comp on when your playing around empty? Or does it skyrocket instantly?

I would think the smaller exhaust housing would be better for daily driving and towing.

Trust me... you wont like the 74 towing at all.....unless you tow at 95 mph...

with DDP 150's and a 62/71 I couldn't barely see over 1300 unloaded! and towing I rarely saw over 1250!

it would shoot up around 1000-1100 pretty quick then climb to around 1300 and barely go over before i let off which is fast as I wanted to go!

What box are you running? What level were you on while towing? Thanks.

Adr on kill/ smarty sw-3 timing 4, I put down 485/971 without the smarty, I leave it up pretty much all time or used to anyway

this time of year it will get to 1400 and hang there. gets there pretty quick.
