Does anybody have any ideas on an oil drain for a twin setup on a pre 98 block? I dont really want to weld a bung in the oil pan. Any other options?

I was thinking of some kind of a Y or T into the existing drain but wondered if anybody's tried it before. I cant imagine I'd have a flow problem.

If you do a search, a lot of people punch a hole in the pan then JB weld a bung on.

I didnt want to have to pull the pan back off but I'm probably gonna have to. I put Haisley's modified girdle plate on it and it was a pain in the A$$! I guess I should have thought about that first. Oh well.

schied sell sell a billit fitting that replaces the factory drain tube in the block that allows for 2 a/n fittings for drains

Ok after trying some different search phrases I found some good info. After reading all that, I think I'm gonna wait till I get everything put together and figure out where to put the oil drain. I guess some guys have found that the drain in the block is too high for the lower turbo and causes problems. Makes more sense now. This is a fresh built engine and I really dont want to take any chances of getting metal in it by drilling, tapping, or punching anything. What are you guys using to punch a hole in it anyways? Thanks!
